What Is the Hardee’s App?

The Hardee’s app is the official mobile ordering platform built by CKE Restaurants — the parent company behind both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. It handles ordering, loyalty rewards, exclusive deals, and location finding in one place.

It is not just a menu viewer. The app gives you access to the complete Hardee’s menu — every burger, breakfast item, and side — lets you place a full order, pay, schedule pickup, and earn rewards, all before you leave the house or pull into the drive-thru.

My Rewards Program — How It Works

This is the most valuable part of the app. My Rewards is Hardee’s loyalty program, and it is built entirely around Stars earned through digital orders or in-store scans.

Earning Stars:

Every $1 you spend earns 10 Stars — whether you order through the app, the website, or scan your Member QR code at the counter when ordering in person. Stars update within about 60 minutes of your order, though it can take up to 24 hours during busy periods.

One important note: Stars are not earned on orders placed through third-party delivery services like DoorDash or Uber Eats. To earn rewards, you need to order through the Hardee’s app or website directly.

Redeeming Stars — Three Reward Tiers:

Redemption is straightforward — add the reward to your cart during checkout, or load the offer to your Member QR code and scan it before you pay in-store. The system automatically uses your oldest Stars first.

There is a maximum of 1,000 Stars per transaction, and reward availability can vary by location and time of day. Breakfast rewards cannot be redeemed during dinner hours, for example.

Is the Hardee’s App Worth It?

For anyone who visits Hardee’s more than once or twice a month — yes, clearly.

The math is simple. At 10 Stars per $1, a $7 order earns 70 Stars. After three average visits you have enough for a free item at the 150 Star tier. The free burger you get just for signing up is worth more than the 30 seconds it takes to download the app.

Beyond the rewards math, the practical benefits are real. Ordering ahead means your food is ready when you arrive — no waiting in line. The customization options in the app are more reliable than trying to explain modifications at the counter. And app-exclusive deals like the Tuesday BOGO tenders are not available any other way.

The only real limitation: not every Hardee’s location participates in My Rewards. If your local restaurant’s receipt does not display a barcode at the bottom, that location is not in the program. The app’s location finder shows participating restaurants, so you can check before you go.
